DIGITAL RIVER CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR AVAST FULL
I had to raised a PayPal case and on 28th February I eventually received the a full refund. I have attempted to contact Lenovo via their website and directly by email. But Lenovo had withheld the amount for the 3-year warranty (€74.78). Lenovo informed me that my order could not be delivered (to me as it was already returned to the Lenovo warehouse) and the only option was to issue a refund. The tracking showed that the item was returned on 28th January. But in fact, the item was not delivered to me but returned to Lenovo. They provided the tracking number and informed me that the item was delivered. On 14th February I contacted Lenovo via the phone as I hadn’t received the item. I received a response on 9th February informing me that my order shipped on 4th February, and they would follow up with a tracking number, but the item would be delivered within 2-3 days.

On 8th February, I send a communication via the Lenovo website looking for an update as I hadn’t received the item or a tracking number. No tracking number was provided, but the email stated that a tracking number would be provided within 1-2 days. On 2nd February I received a shipping confirmation email stating that my order had shipped, and the item would arrive within 2-3 days. I purchased directly from the Lenovo Ireland site, which is operated by Digital River. On 24th January I ordered a Lenovo AIO PC, which included an additional 3-year on-site warranty. In summary, I would strongly advise avoiding Lenovo / Digital River at all costs. We will now issue court proceedings as they are determined to do nothing about the problem. Buyer beware, they are a terrible company and blatantly believe that they are above the law. They also refuse to furnish us with the address where court proceedings should be served.

Therefore we emailed requesting an update, received a response that they are closing the ticket and asking if there was anything else they can help with aside from selling us a PC that is constantly not working, not fit for purpose and still under warranty. Received the same response 'look into this for you', then you hear nothing. Update: We responded to Lenovo/Digital Rivers request via Truspilot. Do they seriously believe that we are prepared to hand over £855 to Lenovo/Digital Rivers for a computer that is constantly not working and still under warranty? They leave us no alternative than to issue court proceedings. Lenovo/Digital Rivers seem to be under the impression that if they ignore the customer long enough they will give up. You go round in circles, they state we will look into it, then you hear nothing from them time after time, after time. Contacted Digital Rivers who are also not interested. Lenovo are not interested, stated that they are closing the case and directed us to Digital Rivers as Lenovo claim that they took our payment. This is a widespread problem with this PC, therefore requested return for a refund as the item is not fit for purpose. Returned for repair, continues to not work with the same issue. After a short period the PC would not work. Purchased a PC Legion T5 from Lenovo's website.

I emailed you the link you will need to get started.ĭO NOT BUY FROM LENOVO/DIGITAL RIVERS THEY ARE SCAMMERS They can help you with cancellation as they handle their own customer service. 21.3.22 update: As I suspected, these are autorenewals with AVG. If I have more information, I can at least try to confirm for you what the charge is, and give you the proper contact information so you can cancel it. If this is a subscription, you would need to cancel it through the brand itself. While we are a provider of payments/tax/compliance and fraud mitigation services, we are not a customer service provider for brands. The notice from PayPal probably gave you the name of the brand where the charge originates. I've asked Trustpilot to contact you through their private channel to get more information from you so we can see what these charges might be.
DIGITAL RIVER CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR AVAST TRIAL
It's not unusual for a trial subscription to roll over into a paid subscription unless you opt out of that. Some of those companies sell digital subscriptions for various products, and many offer trial subscriptions. Digital River provides transaction functions (payments, tax remittance and compliance) for global companies selling online. Hi, Samira - thank you for reaching out to us.
